Tenderness – Italian Film Festival

By | September 15th, 2017|bars and restaurants, cinema, light art|

The Como Cinema is a nice part of the world! I went there to see a screening of an Italian Film Festival film - Tenderness. It was lovely. Slow but emotionally interesting. It left a lot to the audience's interpretation, like good art I guess. There were so many unanswered questions, but I loved it. [...]

By | September 9th, 2017|bars and restaurants, friends, light art, literature|

How are you? I am hungry. I wanted to get home to cook fish. So I am cooking fish. What an amazing afternoon. Such a nice group of people, and so nice to drink beer on a Saturday afternoon. I really am so incredibly lucky. I thank my lucky stars that I have ended up [...]

By | September 8th, 2017|bars and restaurants, bullshit|

I am pretty sure that what matters to me at least is art and culture. And people who enjoy art and culture. There is something so satisfying about getting completely out of my own head for an evening or afternoon. Tonight was not one of these nights. It was a younger crowd, that my friend [...]

disgusting, aggravated, burnt butter crap

By | July 14th, 2017|bars and restaurants, bullshit|

I am so aggravated. I feel sick, because the vegetarian meal that I ordered was doused in burnt butter. I thought I was being good, until I ate about three thousand calories, and all that dairy. I feel sick. From now on, I avoid meat and I avoid dairy. It is disgusting.

Fulton Street and Cookin’ on 3 Burners at the Northcote Social Club

By | July 2nd, 2017|bars and restaurants, music|

Great evening. I really enjoyed Fulton Street at the Northcote Social Club. It was fun music to dance to. I didn't enjoy Cookin' on 3 Burners as much. They felt kind of bland and boring. I know now. I hadn't seen them before, and kept wishing I had caught their gigs. It was the perfect [...]
